How Should the Anti Establishment Five Proceed in their Strategy for the northern Nevada Congressional District?

The five candidates now calling themselves the People's Democrats in the highly contested northern Nevada Congressional district after initially labelling themselves anti establishment say they will decide May 2nd how to proceed in terms of their electoral strategy as a group.

Should they all point to just one candidate or how do you think they should proceed?

Both primaries on their Democratic side and on the Republican side to replace retiring incumbent Republican Mark Amodei are filled with plenty of candidates.

The district has been red to deep red in recent cycles but could see a change to blue due to this being midterms with President Donald Trump's approval rating at its lowest level of his current term, with just 34% of Americans approving of his performance with persistently high prices and the ongoing war in Iran.

"The People’s Democrats—Democratic candidates for CD-2 Morgan Wadsworth, Josh Hebert, Mark Jolle, Gamaliel “Gamy” Enriquez, and Samuel White—will announce their final decision on how they will move forward on May 2 at the Washoe County Democratic Convention," a statement indicates for the five candidates in picture.

"The People’s Democrats joined forces nearly two months ago to combat the marginalization faced by antiestablishment, outsider candidates. In that short time they have appeared at seven events together in addition to participating in the Rural Nevada Democratic Caucus’s Rural Tour. In total, they will have appeared at 13 public events in the span of less than two months.

Their experiment has been a success. Although it did not raise their profile quite as much as they had hoped, it did garner attention and interest. Voters were enthusiastic about it, and appreciated the opportunity to see multiple candidates at once. Those who attended enjoyed the events, which the People’s Democrats strove to make interesting, entertaining, and interactive.

The announcement on the 2nd will not mark the end of The People’s Democrats. Multiple members of the band have expressed interest in continuing to work together, both within northern Nevada Democratic politics and in the community at large, so look out for future initiatives!"
