Complaint into Local Botox Injections Being Looked Into At Nevada State Board of Nursing, Following Police Report

Documents shared with Our Town Reno indicate a police report has been filed against Laura Lytle who allegedly provides botox and filler cosmetic procedures at her local own home without proper licensing, while a complaint against her is being looked into at the Nevada State Board of Nursing.

According to a redacted State of Nevada document, the investigator Christie Daliposon is asking for screenshots the complainant has of Allergan, with Lytle and with a local chiropractor Lytle allegedly works for, as well as “the lot numbers of the products that were injected, a copy of your transaction with Ms. Lytle and a copy of the police report that you filed.”

Allergan is the company behind the brand name Botox, the neurotoxin used for cosmetic and therapeutic purposes.  A person must be a licensed healthcare professional to administer Allergan products, as most of these are prescription only.

The Reno police report from earlier this month has the complainant saying they paid a deposit of 75 dollars to have a filler cosmetic procedure with an individual they met at a chiropractor’s office who they were allegedly told was a licensed nurse, with the rest to be paid in cash.

The report then makes the serious allegation that the accused has a doctor at Renown who orders Allergan products for her which she then picks up to do these at-home procedures.

The complainant says that after receiving injections from her, she allegedly started feeling unwell and went to the ER.  Feeling suspicious she says she kept interacting with the chiropractor and Lytle, trying to find out if she is licensed or not, but then says she was blocked from communicating with them further .

We contacted an Instagram page allegedly related to Lytle and these procedures being offered, with videos of several women showing off enhanced lips but did not hear back.  Other efforts to contact Lytle went unanswered.  We contacted Renown as well concerning this matter but have not heard back from the medical center either.
