Local Family Seeks Legal Help as Guatemalan Born Father Now in Ice Custody
The family of Carlos Gomez, a local father and husband currently listed in ICE custody, is seeking the community’s help for his legal representation and fees.
The ICE locator does not specify where the Guatemalan born father of two is being held but his name appears on its website with the following message.

Phone Number: (775) 789-3000,” the ICE locator website indicates.
“Carlos es un esposo y padre devoto de dos niñas pequeñas. Siempre ha trabajado arduamente para mantener a su familia y estar presente para sus seres queridos. Recientemente, Carlos fue detenido por ICE, y su ausencia ha dejado a su esposa y a sus hijas enfrentando un futuro incierto y difícil. Lo extrañan profundamente y están haciendo todo lo posible para traerlo de regreso a casa,” a Sparks based fundraiser by Daniel Gomez indicates in Spanish.
“En este momento, Carlos necesita urgentemente un abogado de inmigración que lo ayude a navegar el proceso legal y luchar por la oportunidad de reunirse con su familia.
